Getting More Gasoline for your Money

I read an article that said you should only pump gas in the morning when the ground/air is cool because gasoline is denser when it's cold and expands when it's warmer in the afternoon and evening. Also, you should pump the gas into your car by squeezing the nozzle gently instead of really fast. This keeps the gas from creating a lot of vapor in your tank. And you should fill your tank when it's half empty because gas evaporates quickly and this keeps the gas tank from having too much air in the tank, which adds to the evaporation rate.

With the price of gas we're paying today, we have to do whatever we can to stretch it a little further!
